After picking you up from your accommodation, your guide will take you to the airport for a quick flight to a very isolated part of Uganda. Have a relaxation and lunch at Apoka Lodge. You will then get into the safari car for an afternoon game drive where you will be able to see a number of animals such as lions, zebras elephants plus giraffes. You might as well take a dip in the pool. Drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll go on another exciting game drive to marvel at the area’s spectacular flora and animals. This game drive will take you through an arid riverbed, savannah, little forests, hills, and the foothills of mountains.
You will keep going as you bypass a lot of animals on the way to the Karankorog Hot Springs. Even if you repeatedly take the same path in a game, every drive is unique. Remember to bring your camera because the surroundings, birds, and other creatures will all be quite amazing.

Return to Apoka Lodge for lunch before spending the afternoon on a cultural trip with the Karamojong tribe to learn about their way of life. Their love of livestock is most comparable to that of the Maasai in Tanzania and Kenya. They are fierce warriors who are immensely proud of their culture and who think they have a divine right to all livestock, including those that belong to other people. You’ll get to see how they maintain livestock, cook, dance, and live an intriguing lifestyle. Return to Apoka Lodge to relax, eat, and sleep while taking in Kidepo Park’s entrancing natural noises.

Another hearty meal while you take in the magnificent bird symphonies in the nearby trees. Early in the morning, you will have your breakfast and go on a game drive through the park’s wilderness areas to see birds and other wild animals. After lunch, head back to Apoka Lodge and unwind by the pool or go on a thrilling guided nature walk in search of exotic creatures. Dinner and a night’s stay are scheduled at Apoka Lodge.

Your safari will come to a conclusion after you eat your last breakfast at the lodge, go on a guided nature walk to look for birds with your packed lunch and luggage. After the game drive, travel back to the capital.
